About Millennium

A small, locally owned agency in Annandale that has been looking after Northern Virginia families for more than a decade.

Who we are

Millennium Home Health Care is a home care organization licensed by the Virginia Department of Health and enrolled as a Virginia Medicaid provider. We have been serving families across Northern Virginia since 2013 from our office in Annandale.

We started because families in this community kept running into the same problems. An ageing parent needed help, and the system was hard to understand in English. Most agencies sent a caregiver who could not talk to their mother, so we built the agency we wished had existed.

What we believe

  • Home first. Almost everyone we meet would rather stay in their own home, and with the right support, most can.
  • Full dignity. Being bathed by a stranger is hard. Our aides are trained to protect privacy and pride while they help.
  • Straight answers. If a family does not qualify, if we are not the right agency, or if we made a mistake, we tell you directly.
  • Language matters. Being understood matters when you are unwell. We match caregivers by language whenever we can.

Who we send into your home

Everyone assigned to a family has been through the same process, without exceptions.

Screened

Criminal background checks, reference checks and verification of work eligibility before assignment.

Trained

Orientation covering safe transfers, infection control, dementia care, emergency response and client rights.

Supervised

A registered nurse reviews the plan of care and oversees the caregiver’s work on an ongoing basis.

Matched

We consider language, culture, gender preference, experience and personality, and change the match if it is not right.
